Wayne Clark and Cliff Farrar set up this mini-reunion of the USIU (Cal Western) 1969 team. All past players were invited. It was 50 years after that team defeated Cal Lutheran College 49-0. It was a continuation of a project Wayne has been working on. In the future there will be a link to his project here.

We had a great visit and it was wonderful to share stories. (see more pictures and videos) It’s too bad some of you weren’t there to defend your reputations!  The stories were better than most of us remember. We were delighted to see Marc Searl and Mike Rhodes join us even though they weren’t on the 1969 team.

For those of you who don’t recognize us, in the front row left to right are Mike George, Cliff Farrar, Terry Hatcher, David Krich, and Dennis Cole. In the back row are Marc Searl, Mike Rhodes, Jim Ketchersid, Gary Miller, Wayne Clark, John DeFries, and Mike Raney.
